Since 2020 Coles Horsham has raised nearly $150,000 for FightMND.

Coles Horsham store manager Ash Britton said the store had already raised more than $31,000 towards FightMND with three weeks left to go.

"Every year the team rallies together - along with the support of our customers - and raises vital funds for an important cause," Mr Britton said.

"We’re incredibly proud that our regional store has been among the top fundraising stores in Australia for the past three years for FightMND and I want to thank those who have supported by buying a beanie or Coles-brand Aussie pork.

"I encourage everyone in the Wimmera region to visit their local Coles and pick up a kid's or adult beanie to help us fight ‘the beast’.

The Big Freeze Beanies have become a symbol of support for those who are living with the disease, including FightMND co-founder and AFL great Neale Daniher AO who was diagnosed with MND in 2013.

"This is a milestone year in our fight against MND," Mr Daniher said.

"Coles and their customers have been an enormous part of our journey - but the fight is not over yet and there is still so much more to do."

Last year the Horsham store contributed more than $41,000 and finished in the top 10 fundraisers Australia-wide.
