Rural Northwest Health above state average
During the recent Victorian Healthcare Experience Survey, Rural Northwest Health's (RNH) care has been noted higher than the Victorian average.
A total of 92 people participated in the survey where they rated the care, communication and support
they received from the community health program.
In the section where participants rated the overall care received, RNH received a rating of 95.5 per cent which is slightly higher than the overall Victorian scor of 93.4 per cent.
RNH also exceeded the state average in, “Did you feel that you were listened to and understood by staff?” (85.7 per cent compared to 84.2 per cent) and “Do you think using this Community Health Service has assisted you in being able to do the things that are important to you?” (82.7 per cent, compared to t 78.1 per cent).
“Surveys are important and let us know how we’re going as an organisation,” RNH CEO Jenni Masters said.
“We were pleased to record above the state average for these areas and will use the survey
feedback to continue improving our services for the community to ensure they have access to the
most suitable services for their needs."
