The BBQ was held in conjunction with a wood raffle and both were well supported with over $500 being raised on the day. With crowd numbers as expected, most of the food was sold. The BBQ was particularly well supported by the staff of Rainbow P-12 College, who dropped in for a feed before heading off to work.

The Rainbow Lions would like to extend their thanks to Millie Ough for selling raffle tickets, and for the Lions who cooked the BBQ, especially Joe Gould, Greg Roberts, Lou Ravenhorst and Graeme Smith.

The Australian Lions Childhood Cancer Research Foundation (ALCCRF) supports high impact cancer research programs not just across Australia, but throughout the world.

By allocating funds to the very best scientific programs and clinical research trials, they can ensure that childhood cancer research is consistently making strides toward their goal of making childhood cancer 100 percent survivable.
