staff member Leonie Clarke was recognised at a presentation on May 23 for her 40 years of service to Victorian Education.

The Recognition of Service to Victorian Education awards were presented by Minister for Education and Deputy Premier James Merlino at the Pullman on the Park in Albert Park.

The awards are a chance to acknowledge the dedication and hard work of the Department of Education and Training’s teachers and staff.

“I want to thank all of the hard working teachers and education staff, and pay particular tribute to those recognised for their long-serving dedication to education excellence,” Member for Western Victoria Jaala Pulford said.

Service recognition awards were presented for 40, 45 and 50 years of service.
