A 60 year old Jeparit man was left shaken on Tuesday morning when he awoke to two unknown males inside his Riverside Street home at around 3am.

The man locked himself in his bedroom when he heard the alleged intruders and called police.

Leading Senior Constable Blair said police were chasing up leads.

“Investigations are ongoing. We’re hoping someone will be able to help,” LSC Blair said.

“If anyone has any information they should call the Jeparit Police Station on 5397 2071 or CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000,” he said.
