Hindmarsh Shire CEO, Mr Dean Miller has recently acknowledged his departure from the Shire and that of his upcoming new employment position with Swan Hill.
Mr Miller has confirmed that his last day as CEO at Hindmarsh Shire will be Wednesday, May 15. His new role at Swan Hill will commence on Monday May 20.
“Hindmarsh Shire and the wider Wimmera region has been a wonderful place to live and work and I have appreciated the fantastic support that has been shown to me by the Council, the staff, the wider community and, of course, colleagues in local government, State and Commonwealth Governments in my tenure as a first-time CEO. I have made many new friends in this part of the world which I will stay in touch with”, Dean Miller, Hindmarsh CEO said.
“The move to Swan Hill provides me with an outstanding opportunity to progress my local government career and naturally I am thrilled to have been appointed to the role. I will miss working in the Wimmera and I take away very fond memories of my three and a half years here”, Mr Miller said.
Tony Doyle Has been named as acting CEO until the Hindmarsh Shire position is formally and permanently filled.
